Badan Polisi India (Bhāratīya Pulis Sevā) atau LPI, adalah salah satu dari tiga Layanan Seluruh India dari Pemerintah India. Layanan tersebut menggantikan "Polisi Kekaisaran India" (Indian Imperial Police) pada tahun 1948, setahun setelah India meraih kemerdekaan dari Inggris.
Instansi ini bukanlah sebuah kekuatan independen, tetapi memberi unsur kepemimpinan, dan komandan untuk polisi negara bagian dari Pusat Pasukan Bersenjata Kepolisian India. Anggotanya berasal dari perwira senior kepolisian. Biro Penelitian, dan Pengembangan Kepolisian di India bertanggung jawab atas penelitian juga pengembangan kepolisian di negara tersebut.
