    • Barbara is a 1966 Australian stage play by Mona Brand. The original production was sponsored by the Elizabethan Theatre Trust. The Sydney Morning Herald called it "divertingly unpredictable."
      It was adapted for ABC radio in 1970.
      Leslie Rees wrote that "Plainly set out, this play gradually grew in reality as a statement of the problems of young people and as a warning to possessive parents. If there was no great brilliance or originality, neither was there any falsity: Mona Brand’s experienced hand guided the play to its quite moving conclusion."
