Shaman King: The Super Star is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It is a sequel to Takei's manga series Shaman King: Flowers, which is itself a sequel to his Shaman King manga series. It was serialized in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine Edge from May 2018 to October 2023, until the magazine ceased publication, and continued on the Magazine Pocket online platform from August to November 2024.
Publication
Shaman King: The Super Star, written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei, was announced in December 2017. Three prologue chapters were released in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine Edge on April 17, 2018. The series started in the magazine on May 17 of the same year. On October 18, 2023, Shōnen Magazine Edge ended publication. The series resumed on the Magazine Pocket online platform on August 24, 2024, and concluded on November 23 of the same year. Kodansha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on November 15, 2018. As of November 8, 2024, nine volumes have been released.
In July 2020, Kodansha USA announced the digital English language release of the Shaman King's spin-offs, and Shaman King: The Super Star was originally scheduled to be released in August 2020; however, it was delayed to December 1 of the same year.
