Tekabwibwi is a place on the main island Nuribenua at the north end of the Tabiteuea atoll in the Gilbert Islands of the island state Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean. It belongs to the district North Tabiteuea. In 2017, the place had approx. 162 inhabitants.
Geography
Tekabwibwi is located at the northern tip of the atoll on a bay of the lagoon. In the village there is a traditional meeting house: Tewai Maneaba.
It is connected to Tekaman in the south by the Tekaman Causeway dam.
Climate
The climate is tropically hot, but is moderated by constantly blowing winds. Like the other places of the Tabiteuea atoll, Tekabwibwi is occasionally haunted by cyclones.
