Thomas J.
Biersteker (lahir 2 Mei 1950) adalah ilmuwan politik dan tokoh konstruktivis Amerika Serikat. Pada tahun 2007, ia menjadi Dosen Keamanan Internasional Curt Gasteyger di Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Jenewa, Swiss, serta anggota Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding. Ia merupakan anggota aktif Council on Foreign Relations dan Social Science Research Council. Ia juga menjabat anggota dewan redaksi Stability: International Journal of Security and Development.[1] Karya terkininya meliputi saran untuk Sekretariat Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa dan pemerintah Swiss, Swedia, dan Jerman mengenai rancangan sanksi bersasaran.
