The Blues Foundation adalah sebuah perusahaan nirlaba Amerika Serikat, yang bermarkas besar di Memphis, Tennessee dan berafiliasi dengan lebih dari 175 organisasi blues dari berbagai belahan dunia.
Didirikan pada 1980, sebuah Badan Direktur beranggotakan dua puluh lima orang menghimpun pendiriannya dengan tujuan menjaga warisan blues, menselebrasikan rekaman dan penampilan blues, menyebarkan kesadaran blues ke seluruh dunia, dan mewujudkan masa depan dari bentuk seni rupa Amerika yang khas tersebut.
Atas pendiriannya, yayasan tersebut menyelenggarakan Penghargaan W. C. Handy setiap tahun untuk "memberikan pengakuan atas prestasi dalam penampilan dan rekaman blues." Penghargaan tersebut sejak itu berganti nama menjadi Blues Music Award. BMA umumnya dihargai sebagai penghargaan tertinggi yang diberikan kepada para musisi blues dan dianugerahi melalui pemungutan suara dari para anggota Blues Foundation.
The Blues Foundation juga bertanggung jawab atas program-program Blues Hall of Fame Museum, International Blues Challenge, Keeping the Blues Alive Awards, dam Blues In The Schools.
The Blues Foundation mendirikan HART Fund (Handy Artists Relief Trust) untuk para musisi blues dan keluarga mereka dalam kebutuhan finansial dalam hal serangkaian besar perhatian kesehatan.
