Karier
Lahir di San Francisco, Burton ditandatangani oleh Perusahaan Manufaktur Film Amerika pada tahun 1912 di mana dia bekerja selama beberapa tahun. Dia bergabung dengan Essanay Studios yang dia tuntut pada tahun 1919 sebesar $ 25.000 untuk pelanggaran kontrak.
