Kaffir (Afrikaans/Arab: "kaffer", ) adalah sebuah ejekan rasis yang dipakai untuk menyebut orang kulit hitam. Dalam bentuk cafri, kata tersebut berubah pada zaman pra-kolonial sebagai sinonim "negro". Di Afrika bagian selatan, istilah tersebut kemudian dipakai untuk merujuk kepada suku bangsa Bantu. Sebutan tersebut dianggap sebagai ejekan pada pertengahan abad ke-20.
