    Tony Jaa atau Tatchakorn Yeerum (bahasa Thai: ทัชชกร ยีรัมย์; atau dahulu Panom Yeerum (bahasa Thai: พนม ยีรัมย์; IPA: [pʰanom jiːrɑm]) (lahir 5 Februari 1976) adalah aktor laga beladiri Muay Thai.
    Lahir di provinsi Surin, Tony Jaa tumbuh dipedesaan. Ia sering menyaksikan film dari beberapa aktor laga hebat seperti Bruce Lee, Jet Li, dan Jackie Chan. Ia sangat suka meniru-niru adegan beladiri yang ditontonnya di film tersebut lalu mempraktekkannya di sawah milik ayahnya atau saat ia memandikan gajah milik keluarga dan melakukan jungkir balik dari punggung gajahnya ke sungai.

    Dia mulanya bekerja di Muay Thai Stunt yang dipegang oleh Panna Rittikrai perodusernya dan sering sekali menjadi peran pengganti dalam beberapa film yang digarap oleh Panna Rittikrai.
    Tony Jaa dikirim oleh Panna Rittikrai belajar seni beladiri Muay Thai, ia belajar selama 6 tahun Akhirnya Tony Jaa siap untuk membintangi film pertamanya yang sangat mengesankan Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior pada tahun 2003 film inilah yang mengangkat dia menjadi salah satu bintang beladiri Asia populer
    Dalam film ini ia tidak menggunakan efek khusus komputer. Semua gerakan dilakukannya sendiri. Gerakannya adalah perpaduan akrobatik, tarian, kecepatan, dan beladiri. Ia sering mengalami keseleo lutut dan sendi suatu adegan dalam film tersebut saat celana terbakar menyebabkan bulu mata, alis dan hidungnya terluka.

    Film kedua dari Tony adalah Tom-Yum-Goong yang juga sukses di Thailand dan Hongkong dan mengambil setting di Sydney, Australia.


    Kemampuan Tony


    Selain mempelajari seni beladiri Muay Thai, dia juga menguasai Aikido, Pencak Silat, Capoeira, Taekwondo, dan Wushu
    ia juga dapat berbicara bahasa Inggris walaupun belum bagaimana bagus.
