Disutradarai dan ditulis oleh Lo Wei dengan co-penulis Bruce Lee. The Big Boss adalah film utama pertama Bruce Lee. Awalnya, bintang film ini dimaksudkan untuk menjadi James Tien, tetapi performa kuat Lee terdegradasi Tien, maka bintang utama di Hong Kong, untuk penagihan kedua. Keberhasilannya dalam film ini membuat Bruce Lee bintang di Asia.


    Plot


    Cheng Chao-an adalah pria Tionghoa dari Guangdong yang telah pindah ke Thailand, dengan bantuan pamannya, untuk mencari pekerjaan bekerja dengan sepupunya di pabrik es. Ketika sebuah balok es yang sengaja rusak, sesuatu yang tampak seperti kantong bubuk putih keluar. Malam itu, dua sepupu yang menemukan heroin diminta untuk tinggal untuk melihat manajer.
